At first when I read the subject line in my email inbox from Discovery Health of "Marathon Love", I thought it was going to be something about people who love to run marathons. My initial thought was "How timely!" Followed quickly by, "Hmm...I wonder how did they know that I'm training for a half? Are there spies somewhere that I don't know about?" (Ha ha - paranoia always keeps people on their toes!)
But it isn't just a story about people who love to run. It is about someone who loves someone so deeply, defied all odds and brings it all to a head with the Boston Marathon. Here is the trailer to the special that Discovery Health is showing on December 14th.
WARNING: It made me cry (but then again, I'm an emotional person so take that thought with a grain of salt). :)

Wow, that had me teary by the end. There are some amazing people in the world.
In case you missed it the first time, Discovery Health Channel will repeat "Marathon Love" on Valentine's Day at 8PM Eastern and Pacific/7 Central.
